Pineda <br />Director <br />This letter is to inform you that the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety is proposing to Approve <br />a revision application for a coal, mining and reclamation permit. The application was submitted by Western Fuels- <br />Colorado, LLC on November 12, 2009, for the New Horizon Mine. <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal <br />hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within thirty (30) days of the first publication of this notice by <br />the Division in the San Miguel Basin Forum. <br />The surface mine is located approximately 1 mile north of Nucla, Colorado. The permit area is further described <br />as follows: <br />Sections 25 and 36, Township 47 North, Range 16 West; Section 31, Township 47 North, Range 15 West; Section <br />6, Township 46 North, Range 15 West; and Section 1, Township 46 North, Range 16 West. <br />Copies of the revision application are available for public review in the Division offices at the above address and at <br />the Montrose County Courthouse Annex.
