Pineda <br />Director <br />Re: New Horizon Mine (Permit No. C-1981-008) <br />Permit Revision Application No. 6 (PR-6) <br />Post-Mining Land Use; Sediment Control; Final Contours; and Prime Farmland <br />Dear Sir or Madam: <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety has issued a proposed decision to Approve <br />Permit Revision Application No. 6 at the New Horizon Mine. Any person with an interest which may be <br />adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal hearing before the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board within thirty (30) days of the first publication of this notice by the Division in the San <br />Miguel Basin Forum. If no comments are received, this decision will become final at the close of the thirty <br />(30) day public comment period, which commences with the initial publication in the San Miguel Basin <br />Forum. If objections are received the decision will become final within five days after the written <br />decision of the Board. <br />The Division's "Proposed Decision and Findings of Compliance" are available for public review at the <br />following places: the Division office at the above address, the Division Durango Field Office, the <br />Montrose County Courthouse Annex, and on the Division's website www.mining.state.co.us , under the <br />link at the bottom of the page "Permit Documents". <br />If you have questions or need of additional information, please contact me. <br />Sincerely, <br />Q arcia L.
