This conclusion and
proposed plan for disposal of the tailings will be evaluated during the milling
optimization phase during start-up for compliance with the performance standards of
the Act, and the technical feasibility and economic reasonableness of the plan.
(e) The mine site has a history extending over 100 years. Based on the historical legacy
of the site, there are no significant major environmental issues associated with the
mine site as explained further in Section 6.4.20(7)(d) - Naturally Occurring
Geological and Geochemical Conditions. The history of the site has been taken into
consideration during the development of the Environmental Protection Plan.
6.4.20(2) Maps
Designated chemicals will be stored and handled within the May Day No. 1 Operational Area as
described in Section 6.4.20(6). The location of the May Day No. I Operational Area is shown on Figure
C-4, Exhibit C. No existing or potential sources of acid mine drainage have been identified.
May Day Idaho Mine Complex 112(d) Permit Application
September 21, 2010
"Strategically Positioned - Technically Prepared"
5555 DTC Parkway Suite A-4000, Greenwood Village, Colorado 80111
Phone: (303)832-7664, Fax: (303)832-7469
ANDREW HARLEY.PH.D
GINNY KING Sys
A(?_oa
