TR-68, Permanent Light-Use Road Documentation
Response to Comments - Round 3
• Page 2
7. Page 20-2.4 states that the landowner request for permanent retention of Ponds 005, 006, 009, 015,
016, and 017 are contained in Appendix 20-2.1. The previously approved (current) page 20.2. 5 also
indicated that "SCC is waiting on receipt of some letters "; that language was omitted in the revised
version. It would appear that this language may have been erroneously omitted, as SCC has provided
the landowner request only for permanent retention of Pond 006, located on SCC/Sage Creek lands,
and Ponds 015 and 017, which are located on the Ricks property. None of the other letters provided
include provisions for any sediment ponds.
Please either provide documentation that pertinent landowners have requested permanent retention
of Ponds 005, 009, and 016; remove Ponds 005, 009, and 016 from the list of permanent structures
on page 20-2.4 and on Exhibit 20-2; or note that the landowner requests will be submitted prior to
any Phase I bond release request.
Response: The text has been revised per request.
8. Page 20-2.4 states that the landowner request for permanent retention of Stock Ponds T-2, 3, S, 18,
20, 22, 24, 25, 26, and 27 are contained in Appendix 20-2.1. The previously approved page20-2. S
also indicated that SCC was waiting on some of the letters, but again that language is now omitted.
SCC has provided the landowner request only for permanent retention of Tank S, located on
• SCC/Sage Creek lands, and Tanks 25, 26, and 27, which are located on the Friedrich property.
Again, none of the other letters provided include provisions for any stock tanks.
Please either provide documentation that pertinent landowners have requested permanent retention
of Tanks T-2, 3, 18, 20, 22, and 24; remove Tanks T-2, 3, 18, 20, 22, and 24 from the list of
permanent structures on page 20-2.4 and on Exhibit 20-2; or note that the landowner requests will
be submitted prior to any Phase I bond release request.
Response: The text has been revised per request.
Sincerely,
Roy A.
