Pineda <br />Director <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety has received a minor revision for the Bowie No. 2 Mine. <br />The revision was called complete on September 29, 2010. The decision due date is October 9, 2010. <br />In Minor Revision No. 121, Bowie Resources LLC is proposing to revise the Hubbard Creek shaft sealing <br />plan by including coal waste, in addition to the already approved rock and soil, in the shaft fill. Ground <br />water should be protected since the shaft had been grouted and,lined with cemented-in-place steel. The <br />concrete cap will be vented.
