amecI9 <br />C) Geomembrane Acceptance <br />1) VLF <br />Secondary 100mil geomembrane (S-632 thru S-637, S-753, and S-816 thru S-861) shown on <br />Figure 4 was inspected by AMEC and Lonestar representatives, found to be installed within <br />project specifications and acceptable for continued construction activities. This is the final <br />secondary geomembrane acceptance. <br />D) Geomembrane Delivery <br />1) VLF <br />Three loads (33 rolls) of 80mi1 LLDPE single sided textured geomembrane rolls were <br />delivered to site during the shift. The load was delivered on a flat bed truck in good condition. <br />The rolls were unloaded using a CAT 950 front-end loader with forks attached. The <br />geomembrane was placed on three pieces of HDPE pipe, stacked two rolls high. An AMEC <br />field representative inventoried the geomembrane and was present at all times during <br />unloading of the geomembrane. <br />CQA ACTIVITIES: <br />SUMMARY: <br />The CQA activities performed consisted of observing, documenting and recording the construction <br />activities of the contractor. <br />AMEC observed structural fill placement within the Phase 5 VLF fill area. <br />AMEC inspected and approved subgrade prior to geomembrane deployment. <br />AMEC observed, logged data, and assisted in the installation of geomembrane within the Phase 5 VLF. <br />AMEC observed and inspected anchor trench backfill. <br />AMEC observed the installation of the low volume solution collection system, including the risers. <br />AMEC observed the LVSCF placement constantly. <br />AMEC obtained samples of LVSCF placement. <br />AMEC inspected and approved secondary geomembrane for further construction activities. <br />AMEC observed and inventoried geomembrane delivered to site. <br />Testing Summary <br />Laboratory testing continued (Particle Size Distribution, Atterberg Limits, Moisture-Density Relations, <br />Specific Gravity, Permeability, and Point Load testing) for sampled materials. <br />VLF Weekly Report WE 09.11.10.D
