Reservoir alarms are in
the third column. The fourth column contains alarms for the sump on the bottom floor,
the processor if it fails and the hydraulic valve and/or surge suppressor failure.
Scan Alarms are .
(1) Pump Set Failure In the automatic mode of operation this alarm will
be activated if the probe control calls for a pump set to come an line
and the set fails to function. During manual operation this alarm will
come on if one of the pump selector switches is in the start position
and any of the. pump not r nn i ng
' c. 1.4• ..q., "'' .:{... The pumps may need to be re--
primed.
(;) Peak Flow Condition - This alarm is activated if the water level in the
reservoir rises to El . 11 ,055'-6"•
(4) Reservoir Overflow - This alarm activates if the water level in the res-
ervoir reaches 11 ,057'-611.
(5) Sump Pit Hi-Hi Level - This alarm activates when the water -level in the'
sump pit rises to the level of the bottom of the floor trench in the base-
ment.
(6) Processor Fault - This alarm indicates a failure in the programmable
controller or a 480 volt power loss. All of the pumps will go down and
will remain down until the fault is cleared. Contact an electrician if
you cannot restart the pumps by (a) placing all pump selector switches
to off, (b) resetting processor fault, and (c) selecting desired pump
systems to auto.
(7) Valve Failure - The activation of this alarm indicates that the hydraulic
valves on discharge line No. 2 has failed to fully open or fully close,
a check valve on one of the pumps sets has failed to close causing low
manifold pressure, the head pressure in discharge line No. 1 is below the
required level because the check valve has failed to close, or the discharge
line is not primed.
