M-2006-024. The decision date for the
Technical Revision is September 15, 2010. There are several items that need to be addressed
prior to the Division's approval of the revision. If you need additional time to address the
Division's concerns, please request an extension of the decision date.
The purpose of the revision is to facilitate an incidental boundary change to account for land
affected by the mining operation outside of the approved permit boundary. The Colorado
Mined Land Reclamation Board ordered the Operator to submit a Technical Revision to modify
the Mining and Reclamation plan to account for this disturbance. The map submitted with the
Technical Revision modified the mining plan map; however no revision to the Reclamation Plan
was submitted. The Division believes it is appropriate to modify both the Mining and
Reclamation Plan maps required by Rule 6.3.5 to account for the updated affected land/permit
boundary. Both maps must contain the information required by Rule 6.3.5 and they must meet
the map requirements outline by Rule 6.2.1 (2).
Mining Plan Map:
Please update the submitted Mining Plan map with the following information:
1. Please label the names of the owner(s) of record of the surface of the affected land, and the
owners of the substance to be mined.
2. Please label the names of the owner(s) of record for any permanent or man-made structure
on or within 200 feet of the affected land (such as fences, roads, and-power lines).
3.) Please indicate the direction that construction material extraction will proceed.
Office of Office of
