At this time, the Division has not
received the final reclamation report as required by Rule 2.02.6(3)(b). Therefore, you are out of
compliance with the general requirements for coal exploration.
Please refer to Rule 2.02.6(3)(b) and submit the required reports within 30 days. If all work is not
completed at this time, you are required to request an extension to the NOI.
The Division's records show that 17 boreholes were drilled, 13 abandoned, and four holes were
completed as monitoring wells. The records also show that Trapper committed to transfer the
monitoring wells into the approved mining application and request bond release for the other holes.
The Division suggests submitting the final reclamation report and a minor revision to the Trapper
mining permit application that includes the following information related to the monitoring wells.
• Completion diagrams
• Permit text narrative discussing these wells
• Reclamation bond calculations for abandonment
• A map showing the location (preferably on the existing hydrology map, showing sites
inactive)
If you have any questions, please call me.
Sinc rely,
Ke t A.
