I have a question about BLM approvals.
Bowie has submitted MR-120 for the Bowie No. 2 Mine. They are running out of places to mine
until PR-12 and TR-68 are approved. So MR-120 was submitted to add some development mining on
the western edge of their current permit area. Attached is a portion of the revised mine plan
map showing the addition.
Since this mining is on BLM managed land, does BLM need to approve this small addition? This
minor revision has a very short fuse.
Thanks![attachment "bowie2mr120.pdf" deleted by Desty Dyer/MOFO/CO/BLM/DOI]
1
