The backfilling and grading work appears to be stable <br />and the vegetation has stabilized the land. <br />REVEGETATION - Rule 4.15 ? ? Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br />There was a moderate cover of vegetation on site. There were many wildflowers in bloom on the west side <br />of the reclaimed area. Unfortunately, there was also a lot of curly doc in the same area. Only three tall thistle <br />plants were seen and they were also on the west side of the reclaimed site. <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04: <br />The barbed wire fence on the lower section where the sediment pond and topsoil stockpile are located was <br />down. This enables cattle to use the sediment pond as a stock pond, which the landowner had requested. <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS - Rule 4.02: <br />The topsoil sign was up on the topsoil stockpile. Since this is a revoked site, there was no mine <br />identification sign. <br />TOPSOIL - Rule 4.060 0Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; <br />Redistribution 4.06.4: <br />The topsoil stockpile had a good grass cover on it. There were no signs of erosional problems.
