Note that I have not received DMRs
for this permit and have created an electronic version to provide data in the interim. This is a construction permit to install a
pipeline under Fish Creek on the mine property.
In July there was one exceedance for the monthly maximum for total suspended solids (TSS). Four weekly water quality
samples were collected in July with TSS sequential results of 8, 6, 9, and 59 mg/L (exceeding the maximum of 45 mg/L). The
elevated value is not from the pipeline construction back in April, but is attributable to episodes of rain the last week in July that
added sediment to Fish Creek, and. I will contact Nicole Rolfe regarding the elimination of this permit.
Please contact me directly at (970) 870-2750 with any questions.
de
Brian A.
