WMEnvironmental <br /> Measurement Procedure <br /> 1. Insert the funnel into the sample bottle. Slowly immerse the standardized electrode <br /> into the funnel. Sample displaced by the electrode will collect in the funnel. For <br /> in-situ samples, immerse the electrode into the surface water, or lower into the well <br /> for ground water samples. If available, use a flow-through cell. Proceed with Step <br /> No. 3. <br /> 2. Place a bottle on a magnetic stirrer and stir gently. <br /> 3. Turn the mode switch of the electrode to HO position and set the meter to the pH <br /> mode. <br /> • 4. Obtain and record stable reading. The result is displayed in ppm of dissolved <br /> oxygen. <br /> 5. Remove electrode from the funnel. Rinse electrode and funnel with distilled water, <br /> then dry electrode. Gently blot the electrode membrane dry. <br /> 6. Place funnel and electrode in storage bottle. <br /> CO2120 <br />
