Eagle Park Reservoir
• Sampling Summary Information
Screening Samples
b'ec ive: To determine the meaningful parameters that require monitoring in sediments
and surface waters within Eagle Park Reservoir- Samples were collected while tailing
materials were still in the reservoir.
Dates: May 29 and July 17, 1996
Methods:
• Surface Water-4 samples (one of which was split) monitored for all parameters
for which a standard exists in the East Fork of the Eagle River.
• Sediments - One composite sample for each of the above dates analyzed for
total metals concentration.
Results: See Attached Data Summary
The following parameters and analytes were not detected or were detected at very low
levels in the surface water sampling. As a result of initial screening, these analytes
were removed from future sampling:
• Arsenic Boron Chromium (all species) Mercury
Selenium Silver Chloride Coliforms
Cyanide Nitrate Sulfide
The following parameters were detected in the reservoir waters or are considered
necessary for data evaluation. These parameters were retained in the sampling suite as
a result of the screening sampling event:
Cadmium Copper Iron Lead
Manganese Nickel Zinc Nitrite
Ammonia Sulfate Hardness TSS
Temperature Conductivity pH Dissolved Oxygen
