"IMP M Environmental <br /> • SAMPLE CUSTODY <br /> Sample Label. <br /> Each sample collected at the site will be identified with a sample label. The following <br /> information will be recorded on the label at a minimum: <br /> 1. Project number, <br /> 2.. Sample identification(sample number, and sample depth for reservoir samples', <br /> 3. Date and time sample was taken, and <br /> 4. Sampler's initials. <br /> • Field Sample Data.Sheet <br /> The-field sample data sheet is completed in the field-and signed by the individual collecting the <br /> sample. The field sample data sheet correlates the assigned sample bottle designation to a <br /> specific sample location, or to other distinguishing features or attributes (i.e., duplicate sample, <br /> split sample, etc.). <br /> Chain-of-Custody Record <br /> Chain-of-custody records ensure that samples are traceable from the time of collection until <br /> delivered to the; laboratory. The chain-of-custody record is completed in the field by the <br /> individual physically in charge of the sample collection. The chain-of-custody record may be <br /> completed concurrently with the field sample data sheet or before shipping samples to the <br /> laboratory. The sampler is personally responsible for the care and custody of the sample until it <br /> - is shipped. <br /> CO2106 <br />
