Flag Resources, Inc. FLAG SAND & GRAVEL
1412 Road 311 Page 2
Goldman Pit 3 New Castle, CO 81647
M.L.R.B. Permit # M-1978-279 . August 16, 2010
Our plan is to do selective spraying of the noxious weeds in the moderate/heavy areas
during the spring each year, shortly after germination. This will control the heavier populations
of that serve as the seed source for the spread into the light or scattered areas. The chemicals
used for treatment may in include but are not limited to 2-4-D, Ranger Pro®, Escort®, Mile-
stone, Telar®, Roundup® and Curtail® depending on what area is being sprayed and the type
of vegetation being treated. The exact chemical used will be determined when spraying begins.
Any chemicals used will be applied at the manufactures suggested rate. Spot spraying will be
done in the light areas where needed. This spraying will take place each spring until we have the
problem under control. Additional spraying may take place in the fall once we have assessed the
success of the control methods used in the previous spring. Total control will not be possible
because the surrounding areas, not under our control, have no management plan and will be the
seed source for continuing infestation. Spraying began in September 2009 and will continue as
needed until reclamation is complete.
