Pineda <br />Director <br />Seneca Coal Company, LLC has applied for a bond release at the Seneca II-W Mine. The bond release <br />application was found complete by this Division on August 26, 2010. Seneca Coal Company is <br />requesting Phase I Bond release for 414.0 acres, in the South part of the permit area and some of the <br />other areas excluded from the SL-2 approval. The surface ownership is Federal, state and private, and <br />the coal mined was Federal. <br />In accordance with Rule 3.03.2(2) of the Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board for Coal Mining, the Division will be conducting an inspection of the Seneca II-W <br />Mine on Tuesday September 21, 2010, at 8:00 AM. The purpose of the inspection will be to evaluate <br />reclamation at the site.
