Wash <br />thoroughly with soap and water after handling. <br />Remove contaminated clothing and wash before <br />reuse. <br />Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) <br />Applicators and other handlers must wear. <br />• Long - sleeved shirt and long pants. <br />• Chemical- resistant gloves made of any waterproof <br />material. <br />• Shoes plus socks. <br />Follow manufacturer's instructions for cleaning and main- <br />taining PPE. If no such instructions for washables, use <br />detergent and hot water. Keep and wash PPE separately <br />from other laundry. <br />User Safety Recommendations <br />Users should: <br />• Wash hands before eating, chewing gum, using tobac- <br />co or using the toilet. <br />• Remove clothing immediately if pesticide gets inside. <br />Then wash thoroughly and put on clean clothing. <br />Environmental Hazards <br />DO NOT apply directly to water, or to areas where surface <br />water is present, or to intertidal areas below the mean high <br />water mark. <br />DO NOT contaminate water when disposing of equipment <br />washwaters or rinsate. <br />This chemical demonstrates the properties and character- <br />istics associated with chemicals detected in ground water <br />The use of this chemical in areas where soils are perme- <br />able, particularly where the water table is shallow, may <br />result in ground water contamination. <br />IMPORTANT <br />Journey® herbicide may be applied to non - irrigation <br />ditches and low lying areas when water has drained, but <br />may be isolated in pockets due to uneven or unlevel con- <br />ditions. DO NOT treat the inside of irrigation ditches. <br />DO NOT rinse equipment on or near desirable trees or <br />ornamental plants, or on areas where their roots may <br />extend, or in locations where the chemical may be washed <br />or moved into contact with their roots. DO NOT use on <br />residential lawns. <br />DIRECTIONS FOR USE <br />It is a violation of federal law to use this product in a man- <br />ner inconsistent with its labeling. <br />DO NOT apply this product in a way that will contact <br />workers or other persons, either directly or through drift. <br />Only protected handlers may be in the area during applica- <br />tion. For any requirements specific to your state or tribe, <br />consult the agency responsible for pesticide regulation. <br />DO NOT use Journey on food or feed crops except as <br />specified by this label or supplemental labeling. <br />DO NOT cut treated area for hay within 7 days after <br />treatment. <br />When making new plantings of praidegrass or wildflowers, <br />carry-over from persistent herbicides, such as sulfonyl- <br />urea, imidazolinone, triazine, substituted urea, dini- <br />troanaline, and other herbicides applied the previous year, <br />may result in compounded injury or death of desirable <br />vegetation when treated with Journey. <br />When making applications around desirable trees or orna- <br />mental plants, small areas should be tested to determine <br />the tolerance of a particular species to soil applications of <br />Journey. See tolerance of trees and brush to Journey <br />section of this label. <br />Observe all cautions and limitations on this label and on <br />the labels of products used in combination with Journey. <br />DO NOT use Journey other than in accordance with the <br />instructions set forth on this label. The use of Journey not <br />consistent with this label may result in injury to desirable <br />vegetation.
