Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Applicators and other handlers must wear. • Long - sleeved shirt and long pants. • Chemical- resistant gloves made of any waterproof material. • Shoes plus socks. Follow manufacturer's instructions for cleaning and main- taining PPE. If no such instructions for washables, use detergent and hot water. Keep and wash PPE separately from other laundry. User Safety Recommendations Users should: • Wash hands before eating, chewing gum, using tobac- co or using the toilet. • Remove clothing immediately if pesticide gets inside. Then wash thoroughly and put on clean clothing. Environmental Hazards DO NOT apply directly to water, or to areas where surface water is present, or to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark. DO NOT contaminate water when disposing of equipment washwaters or rinsate. This chemical demonstrates the properties and character- istics associated with chemicals detected in ground water The use of this chemical in areas where soils are perme- able, particularly where the water table is shallow, may result in ground water contamination. IMPORTANT Journey® herbicide may be applied to non - irrigation ditches and low lying areas when water has drained, but may be isolated in pockets due to uneven or unlevel con- ditions. DO NOT treat the inside of irrigation ditches. DO NOT rinse equipment on or near desirable trees or ornamental plants, or on areas where their roots may extend, or in locations where the chemical may be washed or moved into contact with their roots. DO NOT use on residential lawns. DIRECTIONS FOR USE It is a violation of federal law to use this product in a man- ner inconsistent with its labeling. DO NOT apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the area during applica- tion. For any requirements specific to your state or tribe, consult the agency responsible for pesticide regulation. DO NOT use Journey on food or feed crops except as specified by this label or supplemental labeling. DO NOT cut treated area for hay within 7 days after treatment. When making new plantings of praidegrass or wildflowers, carry-over from persistent herbicides, such as sulfonyl- urea, imidazolinone, triazine, substituted urea, dini- troanaline, and other herbicides applied the previous year, may result in compounded injury or death of desirable vegetation when treated with Journey. When making applications around desirable trees or orna- mental plants, small areas should be tested to determine the tolerance of a particular species to soil applications of Journey. See tolerance of trees and brush to Journey section of this label. Observe all cautions and limitations on this label and on the labels of products used in combination with Journey. DO NOT use Journey other than in accordance with the instructions set forth on this label. The use of Journey not consistent with this label may result in injury to desirable vegetation.
