• SECTION 2.01 GENERAL COAL MINING PERMIT REQUIREMENTS
Contained in this package is a revised Permit Document addressing the historical and
current state of the mine for Oakridge Energy, Inc. of 4613 Jacksboro Highway, Wichita
Falls, Texas 76301. Approximately 59 acres of disturbance resulting from permitted
surface coal mining activities existed at the Carbon Junction Mine. Current disturbance
of 11.94 acres remains as of January 31, 2008, including sediment ponds 001 and 002
(3.54 acres) and topsoil piles 4, 7, and 8 (8.40 acres). No additional coal mining will be
undertaken under this permit. This permit covers reclamation or disposition of existing
surface coal mining related disturbance within the modified permit area.
2.01.5 Permit Term
The requested permit term for the Carbon Junction Mine is five years with all attendant
rights of successive renewal.
2.01.6 Permit Fees
A permit fee of $2,500 was previously submitted to the Division.
