It contains <br />the necessary items requested in the Corrective Action section of the report. We will respond to each <br />in the order presented. f <br />Inspection Topic: Hydrologic Balance <br />Problem: Petroleum product spillage and cleanup. <br />We disposed of the contaminated soils at Waste Management's Buffalo Ridge Landfill. We <br />removed 4 truck loads of material from the area removing approximately 4 feet of gravely <br />material until we reached the clay barrier under the fuel area. <br />2. A copy of the disposal contract and the load tickets showing where the material was disposed <br />are attached. <br />3. The attached pictures show the site before removal, and during removal showing that the area <br />of concern has been cleaned. We placed all barreled material in a secondary containment <br />shed. Pictures of the shed and floor are provided for the file. This structures is shown in the <br />structure the floor is a grave with a catch area capable of retaining any spills. The front of the <br />shed was elevated to provide additional protection so any fluids would stay in the building. <br />The floor area has a spigot on it where any spilled material can be removed. We note that the <br />fuel storage tank is contained within a concrete containment structure. <br />4. A copy of our Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure Plan is attached. <br />Inspection Topic: General Compliance with Mine Plan <br />Problem: Not following Stipulation #1 of Amendment 01 <br />Attached is the notarized agreement we have with the oil company owning the structure <br />noted. This covers all activities within 200 feet of their structures including the gaslines. <br />During construction of the slurry wall Kerr McGee had a representative on site whenever a <br />gasline was crossed to monitor our activities. At no time did they object or find fault with
