Just as the original application materials were filed for public review at the county clerk's office, so too should all
additional materials be timely filed there, and a receipt obtained for the filing. The receipt(s) for filing all subsequent
submittals must be received by this office prior to the decision date. You may request that the clerk's office fax me their
signed and dated receipt. (Note: additional filings do not have to be sent to the county commissioners or the conservation
district.)
Bond Calculation
Many aspects of the amendment application and your subsequent responses affect the bond amount. Upon receiving all
needed responses, this office will perform a bond calculation and forward the figures to you and the operator. It is
expected that the bond amount will increase. The operator is encouraged to investigate which type of bond instrument to
use to provide the additional bond.
These are the items that had to be addressed at this time. I look forward to receiving your responses (which may be sent
electronically, but followed up by hard copy). If you have any questions I may be reached at the Division's Durango field
office: 691 CR 233, Room A-2, Durango CO 81301; telephone 970-247-5193, FAX 970-247-5104.
