("Cotter") submitted laboratory results for a June 8-9,
2010 surface water sampling event conducted pursuant to Paragraph 26 of the above referenced
Notice of Violation/Cease and Desist Order ("Paragraph 26"). Subsequently, Cotter was notified by
you that certain analytical parameters specified in Paragraph 26 were missing for the upstream
location (SW-AWD) and the downstream location (SW-BPL) and immediately requested the contract
laboratory to use any remaining samples to perform analysis on missing parameters, wherever
possible.
Please find enclosed key excerpts of the revised analytical data report containing missing data
required by Paragraph 26. However, all missing parameters could not be analyzed. Please find
enclosed the inclusion of the original chain of custody and analysis request form, email
correspondence between Randy Whicker and the laboratory, and "Table 1" extended suite analytes
that were referenced in that email correspondence. This submittal is only intended to address the
missing parameters. Cotter will send all surface water quality monitoring data collected during the
month of June 2010 to WQCD under separate cover.
If you have any questions, please contact me at 719-275-7413 (ext. 202).
Sincerely,
5
C;rtA-
S.
