Part of the stripped area north of the Plant Site was refilled to
reduce the exposed water surface. Installation of riprap was completed in 2008 along the
lake side west of the Plant Site (purple line). Be began removing equipment and clean up the
storage area this spring on the north end of the Meadows Lake area. No other reclamation
was required this year.
(3) Mining will continue in the area within the reservoir area and on the stripped areas near the
Plant Site. We believe the Gilcrest may begin to do dirt work on the permitted area as they
begin to build the reservoirs show in the amendment.
(4) Reclamation activities to date have been successful. The slopes along the east and north sides
of the Highland Lakes terrace area are stable and seeded (green). The riprap installed is
protecting the bank as designed.
