Brown
Senior Environmental Protection Specialist
Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215
Denver, CO 80203
Subject: Western Fuels-Colorado, LLC - Permit Revision 6
Sandra L. Brown,
I am the President of Links Freight Management headquartered in Grand Junction, CO. We are
a logistics company specializing in bulk transportation. We currently have contract with Western
Fuels at the New Horizon Mine in Nucla, CO to help them with their coal transportation needs.
We have worked with them for over three years and just recently extended our contract for
seven more years.
We are proud to work with Western Fuels and consider them to be a great strategic partner to
the community and us. They do a great job with reclamation and have returned mined lands
back to their original condition, if not better.
Our livelihood depends on the success of the mine and its future ability to continue mining. I
hope you will approve PR06 so that Western Fuels can continue mining and we can continue to
offer jobs.
Sincerely,
Brandon Williams
President
Links Freight Management, LLC
Links Freight Management 2245 Colex Drive, Grand Junction.
