• . a�n.K 919-A- <br />WHEREAS, the County Commissioners find that the proposed <br />J mining operations within one hundred feet of BB Road, 27.00 Road <br />J and West sth•Road are in_the.public interest since such opera- <br />tions would allow greater recovery of coal, prolong the life of a <br />mine which is important to the local economy, pay more royalties <br />to affected landowners, and not jeopardize the safety of the <br />public traveling along said public roads; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com- <br />missionprs of the County of Montrose, Colorado, as follows: <br />1. That the County hereby grants its approval to western <br />Fuels - Colorado. to conduct surface mining operations within one <br />hundred feet of.BB Road, 27.00 Road and West 5th Road as desig- <br />nated upon Exhibit ^A° attached hereto. <br />2.
