Pineda <br />Director <br />// ,/ ? <br />Henderson Mine, Permit No. M-1977-342, Amendment Approval, Revision No. AM-06 <br />Dear Mr. Katz: <br />On August 3, 2010 the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety approved the Amendment application <br />submitted to the Division on May 5, 2010, addressing the following: <br />1. Increase affected land acreage to 4117 acres to facilitate topsoil stockpiling, expand buffer acreage, and <br />include one acre of federal surface for subsidence at the tunnel portal. <br />2. Remove the Xcel Energy compressor station from the area of affected land. <br />The terms of the Amendment No. 6 approved by the Division are hereby incorporated into Permit No. M-1977- <br />342. All other conditions and requirements of Permit No. M-1977-342 remain in full force and effect. <br />Please find enclosed comment letters on the amendment from Colorado Division of Wildlife, Army Corps of <br />Engineers, and the Colorado Office of Archeology and Historic Preservation.
