In response to the Colorado Historical Society's (CHS) letter dated March 22, 2010 to the Colorado
Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division), Bowie Resources LLC (BRL) submitted a
Class III Cultural Resources Inventory for a portion of the west mine expansion area proposed in
Permit Revision No. 12. Attached is a copy of that report, minus the Appendix B confidential
information which the Division did not receive. The CHS may have already received a copy of the
complete report directly from the Grand River Institute or through the Bureau of Land Management.
The Division requests that the CHS review the report and provide comments to the Division as to
whether or not the report answers the CHS's concerns. The Division would appreciate the CHS's
comments within a couple of weeks or so, if possible.
