Our home is located 2 blocks from
the mine office and shop area. We have seen the mining operation from the start and
have been impressed with the way the land looks after the reclamation is finished on each
of the sections they have mined. As a dozer operator, Monte has witnessed the
improvement of the farm ground after reclamation, adding top soil where it is needed to
make the land more productive. Monte has worked for Western Fuels for 11 years and
we depend on his employment and benefits to be able to continue to live in this area. We
urge you to approve Permit Revision 6 so that we can continue mining and reclamation,
Morgan prime farmland and other properties are protected.
Sincerely,
Monte Richardson
Cindy Richardson
