This revision is to provide the as-built drawings for the geotechnical boreholes
road, as well as for the pilings under the new Coal Preparation Plant foundation as committed
to per the approvals of MR-354 and MR-363.
As the road was only needed for the two-week duration of the geotechnical investigation, the
road was reclaimed to a 4-wheeler trail for monitoring access soon after it was built and the as-
built survey completed. As such, the road as depicted no longer exists. In addition, a portion
of the trail and boreholes will be covered by the RPE East buttress and pile as it is constructed.
Also, as you know, the pilings under the CPP and elsewhere will not be removed at the time of
final reclamation of the mine site.
Please contact me at (970) 929-2238 or by e-mail should you have questions regarding this
submittal.
Sincerely,
V62
Kathleen G.
