• • Cotter Corporation PROCEDURE Number: 3-4 Schwartzwalder Mine Page: I of 9 Golden, Colorado WATER MONITORING Revision: 8 Date: 08/01/2010 ENVIRONMENTAL WATER MONITORING PROGRAM 1.0 Purpose To provide ground and surface water sampling locations, schedules, collection and preparation protocols, and analytical water quality parameters for environmental water samples collected at the Schwartzwalder Mine Site. This water monitoring program is intended to meet the requirements of three State regulatory agencies including the Water Quality Control Division (CDPHE), the Radiation Management Unit (CDPHE), and the Department of Reclamation and Mine Safety (CDNR). 2.0 Surface Water Monitoring Surface water monitoring will be conducted at locations and under the Sampling and Analysis (S&A) Schedule Codes outlined in the following table. Note that limited suite analytical parameters for S&A Schedule Codes 1 and 3 are provided in the table footnotes. "Table 1 Extended Suite" analytical parameters required under S&A Schedule Codes 2 and 4 are provided in Section 2.1.
