PERMIT #: M-1977-301 <br />INSPECTOR'S INITIALS: MAC <br />INSPECTION DATE: July 27, 2010 <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />The inspection was conducted by Michael Cunningham of the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety <br />(Division). Rob Kisner of Colorado Lien Company was also present for the inspection. The Roberts Quarry is <br />located one half mile east of Livermore, Colorado. The site is permitted for 360 acres, with a maximum <br />disturbed acreage of 54.5 acres. The post-mining land use is rangeland. <br />(BG) Backfilling and Grading: <br />Operator is currently mining Phase III; mining of this section is nearly complete. Material from the overburden stockpile <br />in Phase V is being backfilled into the active mining area. When final contouring of Phase III has been accomplished, the <br />topsoil will be replaced and seeded. Following the reclamation of Phase III, active mining operations will move back to <br />Phase II which still contains deposits of limestone. Mining of Phase II will progress to the west until the boundary of <br />Phase III is reached. <br />(FN) Financial Warranty; <br />The Division currently hold a financial warranty in the amount of $563,000.00, which has been determined to be <br />sufficient to complete reclamation. <br />(RS) Reclamation Success: <br />Phase I has been backfilled and contoured to the final slope <br />and revegetation. <br />Remaining reclamation of Phase I includes replacing topsoil <br />(TS) Topsoil: <br />Topsoil has been stockpiled around the perimeter of the excavated areas.
