Note that I have not received DMRs
for this permit and have created an electronic version to provide data in the interim. This is a construction permit to install a
pipeline under Fish Creek on the mine property.
In June there were two exceedances relating to total suspended solids (TSS), 30 day average and maximum. Four weekly
water quality samples were collected in April with TSS sequential results of 112, 90, 150, and 12 mg/L. The elevated values
are attributable to natural high flow erosion impacts along Fish Creek, and not from the pipeline construction back in April.
Historical data on Fish Creek immediately upstream of 001A indicates elevated TSS values during high flows on this creek. A
sample collected upstream of the pipeline crossing yielded a TSS of 259 the last week of May. 1 will be in communication with
Nicole Rolfe regarding this situation.
Please contact me directly at (970) 870-2750 with any questions.
Brian A.
