Outfall 001A/001W did not discharge during the period. Attached are blank DMRs for
this Outfall with the No Discharge box checked.
Outfalls 3001 and 002A flowed each week of the period. Two exceedances were noted for 002A,
the 30 day average for sulfate in June was 540 mg/I versus the limit of 250 mg/L. The reason for
this anomaly is not clear, as we rarely have elevated sulfate concentrations at this site. Note that
the April sample for sulfate was 43.4 mg/L and the May sample was 43.4 mg/L. TCC will
continue to monitor the site for any reoccurrence. The other exceedance was for the pH
maximum of 8.5, TCC had a high of 8.7 in late April. This may be attributed to algae buildup
during initial warm weather in the spring. A subsequent build up of surface duck weed reduced
much of the algae, and by June pH was more on the order of 8.0
Very truly yours.,
Brian A.
