• The proposed mining operations will be using the road for transportation access for labor, equipment, and
ore/tailings hauling. The daily anticipated use is as follows:
• Labor transportation, upto 5 passenger vehicles twice daily
• Equipment transportation, 3 cu. yd. rubber tired front-end loader, track-type excavator (very limited).
• Ore/Tailings hauling, upto 8 round trip loads with a tandem dump truck daily.
At no time shall public roads be used to store or park equipment.
Occasionally, perhaps once annually depending on conditions, the operations will employ a road grader to maintain
the road. This could only be seen as a drastic improvement over the currently existing condition of the road.
Having a maintained road in this remote region should be seen by residents of the County as an asset for wildl and
firefighting. Clear Creek County Road and Bridge publishes maintenance standards and issues maintenance
permits.
This evaluation has been prepared by Ryan I McHale, PE dated 44ayIt4-,24W.
•
•
