Dump trucks and/or front-end loaders deposit material here during the day. A front-end loader then will pick-up this
material and feed it into the Crusher Feed Bin as needed.
Crusher Feed Bin - This elevated, tapered bottom, steel bin is approximately 12' x 12' square and has a height of 9'.
The bin can hold 7 tons of material. The bin is portable, mounted on skids. A grizzley with bars spaced 8" on
center covers the top where the loader feeds material. At the end of the day's crusher operations, the bin is emptied.
The bin has a live bottom transfer conveyor to move material to the Crushing Plant Trailer.
Crushing Plant Trailer - This mobile crushing plant is assembled on an open trailer measuring 8' wide x 44' long.
The trailer is registered with the State of CO DMV as "Special Mobile Machinery". The machinery on this trailer
consists of. Crusher Feed Conveyor, Jaw Crusher Grizzley, Jaw Crusher, Roll Crusher Feed Conveyor, Roll
Crusher, and Electrical Distribution Gear. As part of setup, this trailer is jacked up and put on wooden cribbing for
stability and vibration. control during operation.
Crushed Rock Conveyor - This conveyor moves the final product from the Crushing Plant Trailer to the Crushed
Rock Bin.
Crushed Rock Bin - This elevated, tapered bottom, steel bin is approximately 15' x 15' square and has a storage
height of 16'. The bin can hold 80 tons of material. The bin is portable, mounted on skids. A removable roof
covers the bin to keep the weather out and prevent any acidic runoff. The bin has a live bottom transfer conveyor to
move material to the Ball Mill Feed Conveyor.
Ball Mill Feed Conveyor - This conveyor moves the crushed product from the Crushed Rock Bin to the Ball Mill
Trailer.
Ball Mill Trailer - This mobile gravity separation plant is assembled in an enclosed trailer measuring 8'6" wide x
8'6" high x 48' long. The trailer is registered with the State of CO DMV as "Special Mobile Machinery". The
• machinery in this trailer consists of. Ball Mill, metered lime feeder, Concentrating Table, Middlings Recycle Pump,
Electrical Distribution Gear, and Water Distribution Piping. As part of setup, this trailer is jacked up and put on
wooden cribbing for stability and vibration control during operation.
Flotation Trailer - This mobile flotation separation plant is assembled in an enclosed trailer measuring 8'6" wide x
8'6" high x 48' long. The trailer is registered with the State of CO DMV as "Special Mobile Machinery". The
machinery in this trailer consists o£ (1) Two-Bank Float Cell, (1) Four-Bank Float Cell, (1) Six-Bank Float Cell,
pH Control and Monitoring/Recording Instrumentation, Electrical Distribution Gear, and Water Distribution Piping.
As part of setup, this trailer is jacked up and put on wooden cribbing for stability and vibration control during
operation.
Other Mobile/Portable Equipment - At any given time there may also be parked in this area front-end loaders,
excavator, road grader, flatbed trailer, utility trailer, storage containers, engine driven compressor trailer, dump
trucks, employee vehicles, heavy equipment implements, water truck, and any other equipment necessary to conduct
operations. A portable toilet is also located on site.
Water Holding Pond - An old prospecting trench was cleaned out and lined with 3" of steel reinforced shot-crete.
The cured concrete was then sealed with an asphalt emulsion. The pond measures an average of 4' deep x 6' wide
x 100' long and can store 18,000 gallons of mill feed water. A minimum of 6" of freeboard shall be maintained for
averting an overflow situation.
Upon recommendations by the DBMS, a 60 mil textured HDPE liner will be installed prior to operations. This liner
will be assembled from 22.5' wide material that will be field fabricated. The seams will be made with a fusion
machine. The fabrication process overlaps the liner seams approximately 6" and fuses a double seam. The "pocket"
between the seams shall then be inflated with air and leak tested.
New water and recycle water is contained here for milling operations. It shall be noted that on the west end a very
. gradual "ramp" was incorporated into the pond so that any errant critters could safely escape. The surface of the
textured HDPE is rather rough and not slippery when wet.
