Notes:

Thrust is based on a working pressure of 150 p.s.i.; Bearing area is based
on a safe soil bearing load of 1500 p.s.i.; Blocking shall bear against
fittings only and shall be clear of the joint.
2) At dead ends, wrap fittings with tar paper or felt to provide bond break
between concrete and fittings.
