The locations of existing structures, pipelines, utilities, etc, shown on the drawings have
been determined from the owner, utility companies or other personnel. There may be
other structures, pipelines, utilities, etc. not shown on the drowings.which presently exist
in the area of construction. The Engineer and /or Owner assume no responsibility for the
accuracy or completeness of the information shown. The Contractor shall review and
verify the existing ground configuration and inform himself /herself of the conditions to be
encountered during construction and shall contact all appropriate agencies prior to
commencement of construction for purposes of locating existing structures, pipelines
utilities, etc. within the project site.
3. Dimensions, elevations, and locations of existing structures, pipelines and existing
topographic data shown on the drawings are approximate. The Contractor shall review and
verify existing configurations and inform himself /herself of the conditions to be
encountered during construction. Report any deviations from the contract drawings
immediately to the Engineer prior to proceeding with the work.
4. These drawings supply general information and guidance for the layout and construction
of this facility. All other construction details are to be decided between the Owner,
Equipment Supplier and Contractor.
5. All dimensions, equipment locations are to be verified by the Owner, Equipment Supplier
and General Contractor prior to construction.
6. Contractor must comply with all local, province /state, and federal building codes.
7. The Earthwork for the freshwater reservoir will be provided as the "Earthwork Construction
Plans ". Any discrepancies between the earthwork documents and the water system
improvements documents should be identified to the Owner and Engineer prior to
proceeding with the work.
8. All building /construction materials shall be new unless otherwise noted. The Contractor
shall supply product submittals detailing materials and equipment selected to the Owner
for approval regarding materials used.
9. Provide proper construction and workmanship to ensure necessary slopes for drainage. It
is the responsibility of the Contractor to make any necessary field modifications to insure
drainage.
15. These Plans do not provide a storm water plan which may be required for land
disturbance activities, (See Earthwork Construction Plans).
16. Pipelines shall generally be laid out in straight lines between points of intersection as
shown on the coordinates provided on said plans.
17. Minimum cover on all water lines installed under this project is to be 4 feet, to Top of
Pipe, unless otherwise noted.
18.
