suitable subsoil will be placed over the single lift soil. "This material will be tested as <br />previously described for subsoil suitability." It was our intent that this meant "spoil <br />suitability" since Table 2.05.4(2)(d)-1 does not mention subsoil suitability parameters in <br />single lift soils. <br />We understand that the language on page 33 is slightly confusing but Table <br />2.05.4(2)(d)-1 was always the determining factor for all topsoil and subsoil suitability. <br />If subsoil were to be tested in single lift soils, the Table would reflect this and it did <br />not. For the reasons outlined above, I believe this particular issue in the recent <br />violation on soil suitability testing should not be considered as a problem. In addition, <br />after discussion with the Division on the recent submission for TR-06, it was agreed to <br />remove any wording for testing of Bench 1 material as subsoil in the single lift soils <br />areas. <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br />Greg Lewicki, P.
