The <br />attached documentation includes the following for your records: <br />• Pond liner acceptance letter; <br />• Liner QA/QC sheets; <br />• Pond berm soil compaction QA/QC sheets; <br />• Cushion sand specifications; <br />• Inlet flume specifications; <br />• Control gate specifications; <br />• Soil triaxial shear test results; <br />• Soil Proctor compaction test results; <br />• Soil sampling field sheets; and <br />• Design calculation briefs. <br />The following provides a description of the field conditions encountered during pond <br />construction based on TEC field records. <br />The Henderson Mine Sedimentation x #1.2 is a 26 acre-foot, sub-grade pond. that was <br />constructed using standard construction methods with an excavator and haul trucks. The-pond is <br />lined with a 40-mil High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) liner which is anchored intorde pond <br />berms (see drawings). The inlet to the frond consists of a concrete flume structure wi*two 16- <br />inch HDPE conveyance pipes which enter the pond. The pond outlet consists of als:kf* X116-inch <br />HDPE conveyance pipe which terminates into a concrete outlet box.
