Martin
Executive Director
Loretta E. Pineda
Director
The Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety has received Yellowcake Mining, Inc. request for full
release of the above referenced Notices of Intent. The release requests conform to Rule 4.16 and are
considered complete. Per Rule the Division normally has 30 days to inspect and determine if the sites
meet reclamation standards. However, on June 29, 2010 Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety
(DRMS) and Bureau of Land Management (BLM) personnel inspected the above referenced Uravan-Beck
P Projects. The inspectors note that all earthwork and hole reclamation has been completed.
Revegetation of the sites is observed as being equal to or better than the surrounding area in diversity
and density. Therefore, a second inspection is not necessary.
DRMS is forwarding this letter and Yellowcake's release request to the BLM Uncompahgre field office for
concurrence on the release requests. DRMS will finish the release process as soon as it has confirmation
of concurrence within the next 30 days but no later than August 16, 2010.
If you need additional information please contact me at the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety,
Grand Junction Field Office, 101 S. 3rd St., Suite 301, Grand Junction, Colorado 81501, or by telephone
no. 970.241.1117.
Sincerely,
-1?
G.
