Therefore, exposure of <br />ground water must not occur during or after mining operations. <br />® Any storm water retained in any shallow pools/depressions created as a result of this operation <br />must infiltrate into the ground or be released to the natural stream system within 72 hours, or a <br />substitute water supply plan or augmentation plan approved by water court must be obtained. <br />? The proposed operation may have potential impact on existing water rights near the project <br />location. Applicant needs to demonstrate that the proposed project will not alter or impact the <br />historic operation of existing water rights. <br />COMMENTS: The operation will mine sand, gravel, and clay for the production of road base. The <br />applicant's consultant has stated that all mining will be conducted above the ground water table. All water <br />used at this site will come from the North Weld County Water District.
