DOW will likely be okay with 3/5 bore hole locations, but approval of the two which require new road construction are likely to be denied (we're okay with the cores, not okay with new roads). The big hurry is that we explained the timing limitations placed on the CBM developer and our wish to remain consistent with the season dates on all new construction on the SWA. Our contract with the gas company applies only to them and not NECC; however, the dates are set for all new construction and NECC would like to have the core holes completed before Sept. 1St. I'll be in touch with you after I visit with Ron @ NECC...and see how they want to proceed. About half of the 12 locations are on the BdO. Only a couple of them require that roads be constructed. However, one of them is located on a side ridge in the right fork of Apache Canyon. On the map they provided, I don't see any easy way to build a road to this location. If you know, what, if any, restrictions were placed on New Elk in their lease with the DOW regarding surface activities? Does the DOW want to have input regarding the position and placement of any temporary roads? Currently, I do not see a way that this hole can be moved to existing roads due to the relatively few roads in this area of the BdO.
