6.3.1 EXHIBIT A - Legal Description and Location Map
Adequate as submitted.
6.3.2 EXHIBIT B - Site Description
Adequate as submitted.
6.3.3 EXHIBIT C - Mining Plan
Adequate as submitted.
6.3.4 EXHIBIT D - Reclamation Plan
Weed control methods are required to be used for all noxious weeds on site. A generic plan to control all
noxious weeds should be included in all permit applications. If a specific noxious weed species appears in the
future, the plan may need to be modified to deal with that particular species at that time.
The reclamation costs are still under review at this time. Your estimate appears to be well prepared; however,
the division is required to complete a separate bond estimate as well. Once any remaining adequacy issues have
been addressed, this will be completed. It is correct that this site will be mined to a 3:1 slope, or will
backfilling be required to achieve final sloping?
6.3.5 EXHIBIT E - Map
Adequate as submitted.
6.3.6 EXHIBIT F - List of Other Permits and Licenses Required
Adequate as submitted.
To date, no comments have been received from other agencies that DRMS solicits for comment on new
applications. If any are received between now and the decision date that require your attention, they will be
forwarded to you. One agency that you will need to contact is The Water Quality Control Division of the
Colorado Department of Health and Environment to determine whether or not you will be required to obtain
storm water permits for you site.
6.3.7 EXHIBIT G - Source of Legal Right-to-Enter
Additional documentation regarding Legal Right-to-Enter will be required. A copy of the contract between the
landowner and operator to conduct mining would be adequate. Per Rule 6.3.7 "A signed statement by the
Landowner and acknowledged by a Notary Public stating that the Operator/Applicant has legal right to enter
and mine is also acceptable".
6.3.8 EXHIBIT H - Municipalities Within a Two-mile Radius
Adequate as submitted.
6.3.9 EXHIBIT I - Proof of Filing with County Clerk
Adequate as submitted.
