I am also hand-delivering to you 15 copies of this <br />transmittal letter with the enclosed four documents for the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board packets. <br />LOS ANGELES The first enclosure is the Curriculum Vitae for Susan Wyman, P.E., P.G., the <br />technical consultant for Cotter, and the author of the June 25, 2010 document, <br />entitled "Rationale for Not Conducting Mine Dewatering and Mine Water <br />Treatment at the Schwartzwalder Mine." <br />MUNICH <br />The second enclosure is the June 26, 2010 Technical Review Request from <br />Cotter to the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety ("DRMS") to <br />authorize an interim 50 gallon per minute (gpm) treatment system to remove <br />PHOENIX uranium from water reporting to Sump Number One at the Schwartzwalder <br />Mine by July 3, 2010. This would result in remediation occurring before the <br />deadline for the 100 gpm system, which is required by July 31, 2010 pursuant <br />to Corrective Action #1 of the May 18, 2010 DRMS Inspection Report and the <br />SALT LAKE CITY DRMS May 19, 2010 letter addressing TR-11, Adequacy Review #2. <br />The third enclosure is the most recent correspondence from Cotter regarding <br />the Technical Revision to implement Corrective Action #1, which is a June 28, <br />SAN FRANCISCO 2010 letter from Cotter to DRMS. <br />Charlotte L.
