All conditions, facilities and
requirements appear to be met. This office therefore is approving your request to place this permitted mine
into temporary cessation.
Please be reminded that the site must still be monitored to ensure that it remains in a stable condition. Also,
all annual reporting requirements remain in effect during the temporary cessation period.
Temporary cessation may extend for up to five years, with a possible additional five years subject to
approval. Please provide a statement notifying this office of the date when the mine permit status is to
change back to "active."
There is no revision of the bond amount included as part of this revision of permit status.
Sincerely,
Bob Oswald
Environmental Protection Specialist
C: Steve Shuey, DRMS
James Blair, BLM, Dolores office
(c:\10-06 docs\camation tc02 appr/rco)
Office of Office of
Mined Land Reclamation Denver • Grand junction • Durango Active and Inactive Mines
