By the end of the 4th quarter, only a small area had been mined. The area potentially <br />affected by mining was inaccessible because of snow cover and consequently, the ground <br />surface was likely not visible. Mining was not within a mile of Monument Dam or within the <br />angle of draw of any Forest Service road or stock ponds.
