By the end of the 1 st quarter 2009, only a small area had been mined. The area <br />potentially affected by mining was inaccessible because of snow cover and consequently, the <br />ground surface was likely not visible. Mining was not within a mile of Monument Dam or within <br />the angle of draw of any Forest Service road or stock ponds. Routine monthly inspection <br />reports for Monument Dam are included with this letter. <br />As per our discussions, the quarterly summary requirement for the 2nd and 3rd quarters will be <br />satisfied by the semiannual subsidence surveys and reports. <br />Sincerely, <br />'4" /?r? 3"-? <br />Ryan V.
