Eagle Mountain Pit, File No. M-2010-019, Objection to a Construction Materials Regular (112) Operation
Reclamation Permit Application
To whom it may concern:
On June 22, 2010 the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (DRMS) received an objection (copy enclosed) to the
above referenced 112 application from the "Neighbors". The objection provides recommendations for approval of the
application.
The location for the proposed mining operation lies approximately 3.5 miles northwest of Pagosa Springs in Archuleta
County, between Stevens Lake Road and Cloman Boulevard. The objection raises issues regarding critical lynx habitat.
DRMS would greatly appreciate input from the Colorado Division of Wildlife regarding this matter. We thank you for
your time.
Please contact me if you desire additional information, or have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
(Z,?
Dustin Czapla
Environmental Protection Specialist
Department of Natural Resources
Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety
101 South 3`d, Suite 301
Grand Junction, CO 81501
Phone: (970) 243-6299
Fax: (970) 241-1516
Office of Office of
Mined Land Reclamation Denver • Grand Junction • Durango Active and Inactive Mines
