Two speeimens were cut from this core segment and tested for <br />compressive strength. This letter presents results of that test, <br />The care sagment was 3.2 inches in diameter and approximatefy 15 inches long as <br />received. It contained coarse sand aggregate, with a maximum sire of 114 inch:. Ws cut two <br />compressive strength specimens from this core, and tested them In as-received condition <br />on the same day as the coee was received.
