Sorenson: <br />This letter and other submittals are being provided to the Division of Minerals and <br />Geology (Division) per the requirements of die April 27. 2000 conditional approvat <br />granted by the Division for the above mentioned technical revision. Ple:.ise find enclose:i <br />a construction summary of the 3-Dam decant grouting project from Denver Grouting. as <br />Weil as a materials testing report from Inter-.Mountain Engineering regarding the actual <br />grout used. Also included is a letter report from Mr. Chris Hatton of URS addressing the <br />Div'ision's concerns regarding possible 3-Dam stability issues from the decant line <br />penetration. These three items fulfill Stipulations No. 3 and 4 from the DI\ ision's <br />conditional approval lerter. However. it should be noted that some of the compressn e <br />strength test results on the grout did not meet our specification. We are currently <br />addressin, this concern Nvi(h Denver Grouting but were unable to resolve it betore this <br />submittal was due to the Division.
